Rev. Dr. Krystal Sears
Rev. Dr. Krystal Sears has been in ministry for 22 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, a Master’s of Business Administration, a Master’s of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry. By the grace of God, well over 175 people have given their lives to Christ, more than 125 new members have been added to the AME Church and 8 ministers have answered their call to preach the Gospel. Under her leadership, congregations have thrived and excelled both spiritually, economically, and numerically through anointed preaching, Christian Education, and ministries that link the church with its community and culture. Dr. Sears believes in the power of the infallible inherent Word of God being taught plainly. She has been blessed with the opportunity to teach and preach these powerful principles on the local, district, and episcopal levels of the AME Church. Dr. Sears is currently the first female Chairperson for the Palmetto Annual Conference Finance Committee, the Ministerial Efficiency Committee, and the Dean of minister training called the Board of Examiners. She also serves as a Trustee of over 100 churches in the Charleston area.
Dr. Sears serves as the Creative Director and Co-Executive Producer of the Seventh Episcopal District’s Christian Education Department. She is the first female Pastor of Greater St. Luke AME Church in Charleston, SC. Her work in the Charleston community has quickly added her to the Mayor’s Clergy Advisory Board and the Health Advisory Board for the city of Charleston. Dr. Sears is proud to serve as a proud member of the Medi Community Resource Center and host of Red Dress Sunday.
Dr. Sears is the wife of Bro. Craig Sears, who is the lead Video Editor for the AME Church in South Carolina. She and her husband have an international social media video ministry. She believes in an aggressive anointing and progressive ministry. She desires only to do the Will of God and to one day hear Him say, “Well Done.”
