​Tobacco-related illness is one of the primary causes of death among Blacks. At 7 PM Wednesday, May 19, the National Council of Negro Women: Bethune Leonard Section, the Center for Black Health and Equity, the Lowcountry Menthol Ban Coalition, the Lowcountry Smoke Free Coalition, the Charleston (SC) Chapter of Links, Incorporated, and The Medi Community Resource Center will host a virtual town hall sharing information and history on menthol and its effects.
