About The Medi

Since 2013, The Medi has produced educational forums highlighting the work of organizations to improve health outcomes and promote health equity.

As a 501c3 nonprofit, our goal is to promote health equity through patient-centered neighborhoods with an emphasis on helping community-based organizations develop a culture of collaboration. This is done through ample education and up-to-date technology to connect existing organizations to facilitate a safer, timelier, and more effective community.

Engaging in the Medical Neighborhood

Any support received will help us to further develop our programming and cover our communications costs and other necessary expenses as we continue to strive to create positive change in the lives of those impacted by the social determinants of health.

The Medi also engages in a coordinated outreach effort to improve our target populations’ vaccine confidence, support ongoing local prevention efforts, and problem solve the barriers associated with vaccine hesitancy and promote vaccine uptake.

Education Is Key At The Medi

We are always looking for partnerships to enhance the success of The Medi Medical Neighborhood Forums and its mission. To learn more about how you can support our vision, contact us at 843-554-2533 or email Info@themedi.org.
